Counting traffic with MySQL
Hi,
i was wondering if it's possible to count IP traffic with MySQL ?
example:
/me and a couple of my friends share the same internet connection, and we have a linux server set up, so what we'd like to do is, to set up a MySQL database to count the number of Megabytes each one of us has used up, (SENT & RECEIVED) let's say in the past month, or week, doesn't matter. Is it possible to do so? and if yes, could someone give me some hints on how to do so?

P.S.
i'm planning the output to be a php file.
oh, and 1 more thing. we only have to pay for the number of MB's used @ daytime 9AM-9PM so we'd have to seperate this somehow from the Nighttime.
