Do you want to be part of a brand new developer team that will change the way millions of travellers plan their trips around Europe? Our client is a very well connected startup based in NY and Berlin. They are launching a web-based technology that allows users to easily plan their passages throughout Europe.

To implement and scale their software project, our client needs talented software engineers who have knowledge in the management, structuring and integration of immense data amounts to give users easy access to them.

 What will you be doing? 

-       You will be commander of your own technical projects.

-       The product is within your hands: help to design, create the product’s architecture, its platforms and features within your area of specialisation

-       You make everything ready for the big launch and secure international roll out of the product.

What your qualifications should be to suit this position:

-       You have quite a few travelling miles on your back and as many stories to tell.

-       You impress others with your knowledge of the latest web development and mobile technologies but your specialty is Java and PHP, meaning at least 2-3 years of experience within demanding projects.

-       Strong distributed systems and architecture knowledge

-       Experience with highly scalable systems/ scalable cloud setups/ multiple API integration/ large data management

-       A big plus would be, if you have also actively used Linux, Git, Ruby on Rayls, Zend Framework, Gearman, CSS and jQuery before.

-       Creativity and brilliancy in keeping things simple are important.
