PDO::commit — Commits a transaction

Beschreibung

public PDO::commit(): bool

Commits a transaction, returning the database connection to autocommit mode until the next call to PDO::beginTransaction() starts a new transaction.

Parameter-Liste

Diese Funktion besitzt keine Parameter.

Rückgabewerte

Gibt bei Erfolg true zurück. Bei einem Fehler wird false zurückgegeben.

Fehler/Exceptions

Throws a PDOException if there is no active transaction.

Hinweis: Eine Exception wird auch dann ausgelöst, wenn das Attribut PDO::ATTR_ERRMODE nicht PDO::ERRMODE_EXCEPTION ist.

Hinweis: Not all databases will allow transactions to operate on DDL statements: some will generate errors, whereas others (including MySQL) will automatically commit the transaction after the first DDL statement has been encountered.
