OIS ermöglicht Oracle DBAs den schnellen Zugriff auf diverse Oracle Parameter und Tuning Views, unter anderem werden folgende Informationen angezeigt:
- Tablespaces
- Prozesse
- Memory usage
- Redolog usage
- Rollback Segment usage
- Instance statistics
- Top SQL
- uvm.
Ausserdem ist ein rundimentärer Schema-Browser integriert. Desweiteren ist ein simpler Export Mechanismus integriert und für DBAs existiert noch ein sehr einfach gehaltenes Management-Interface, über das alle vorhandenen Oracle Instanzen eingetragen und verwaltet werden können.
OIS benötigt mind. PHP 4 (besser PHP5) und die OCI8 Erweiterung, eine Oracle Datenbank muss natürlich auch vorhanden sein.
