[MySQL 4.1] Problem mit MySQL und PHP

Hi Leutz,

Also ich habe auf meinem Server Apache 1.3 laufen und PHP auch installiert. Mein Betriebsystem ist: Debian

Wenn ich aber nun phpmyadmin starten will, dann sagt er mir:

Die MySQL-Erweiterung konnte nicht geladen werden.
Bitte überprüfen Sie Ihre PHP-Konfiguration!

Wenn ich nun auf Dokumentation klicke erscheint folgende Meldung:


[1.20] I receive the error "cannot load MySQL extension, please check PHP Configuration".
To connect to a MySQL server, PHP needs a set of MySQL functions called "MySQL extension". This extension may be part of the PHP distribution (compiled-in), otherwise it needs to be loaded dynamically. Its name is probably mysql.so or php_mysql.dll. phpMyAdmin tried to load the extension but failed.

Usually, the problem is solved by installing a software package called "PHP-MySQL" or something similar.



Nun die Frage wie bekomme ich das weg?
Also das phpmyadmin funktioniert und nicht andauernd dieser blöde Fehler erscheint...

welche Php-version ??

precompiled oder selbstgebacken ??

Ja aber davon ahbe ich nicht so wirklich Ahnung...
Wäre nett wenn du es mir kurz erklären könntest...
