strnatcasecmp — Case insensitive string comparisons using a "natural order" algorithm
Description
$string1, string $string2): intThis function implements a comparison algorithm that orders alphanumeric strings in the way a human being would. The behaviour of this function is similar to strnatcmp(), except that the comparison is not case sensitive. For more information see: Martin Pool's » Natural Order String Comparison page.
Parameters

The first string.

Return Values
Similar to other string comparison functions, this one returns < 0 if
string1 is less than string2 >
0 if string1 is greater than
string2, and 0 if they are equal.

var_dump(strnatcasecmp('Apple', 'Banana'));
var_dump(strnatcasecmp('Banana', 'Apple'));
var_dump(strnatcasecmp('apple', 'Apple'));
?>
The above example will output:
int(-1) int(1) int(0)
