V-NewsTicker
The V-NewsTicker is probably the best FREE vertical news scroller ever written (I still haven't found better :). Features include easy setup, small size, pausing, sliding up or down... You can use it as a news board instead of a Java applet or a Flash, which will take much more time to load. It supports the most popular browsers plus Konqueror 3.1+, which already supports the CSS clip and overflow properties correctly.
