Memcache::delete — Delete item from the server
Description
$key, int $timeout = 0): bool
Memcache::delete() deletes an item with the key.
Parameters

key -
The key associated with the item to delete.

timeout -
This deprecated parameter is not supported, and defaults to
0seconds. Do not use this parameter.
Return Values
Returns true on success or false on failure.

It's not recommended to use the timeout parameter. The
behavior differs between memcached versions, but setting to 0
is safe. Other values for this deprecated feature may cause the memcache delete
to fail.
