PHPFM is an open source file manager written in PHP. It is easilly customized as the script is seperated in a file containing the script and a configuration file which allows you to control the script without having to edit in the real script. PHPFM is also very easy to install, and you should be able to extract the archive and then run the script without making any changes at all to the configuration file, in most cases.
