Github erweitert seine Dienste um die Möglichkeit, Softwarepakete direkt von der Plattform aus, Endkunden als Download anzubieten.

Github hosted zahlreiche Open-Source-Entwicklungsprojekte auf seiner Plattform. Die Plattform basiert auf der Versionsverwaltung GIT und ist bereits bei vielen Entwicklern weltweit bekannt und beliebt.
Jetzt haben die Macher von Github ein nicht ganz neues Feature mit den Namen „Releases" wieder aktiviert und so vielen Entwicklern das Leben ein wenig leichter gemacht. Releases erlaubt es, ein Updatepacket direkt an Endkunden auszuliefern. Dabei können Changelogs dem Updatefile angehängt werden.
